To everyone who spends the day on their feet,
For more than thirty years, people have walked into my workshop in pain. Nurses after night shifts. Cooks, teachers, people who work the shop floor. Some had been standing for twelve hours. Some could barely stand at all.
One day, someone whose feet hurt asked me a simple question: “What shoes should I wear?” I looked at everything on the shelves, and I had nothing to recommend. Soft for an hour, then flat. Support in the wrong place, or no support at all.
That stayed with me. So I decided to make the shoe I couldn't find.
Into this clog I put everything thirty years of fitting feet has taught me. The Peanut Pad, shaped for the spot on the heel that takes the hardest hit. A footbed that supports all three arches. A firm base that keeps its shape when the day gets long.
Everyone who works on their feet, and everyone whose feet hurt, has the right to a comfortable pair of shoes.
Not as a luxury. As a starting point. I hope pipiu gives you that.
With care,
